Episode 3 - Post-conference Recovery

It’s time for episode three and I just finished co-chairing the Moonlight & Magnolias Writers’ Conference with Sherrie Lea Morgan.  Post conference I have a fun contemporary romance, a historical podcast, two apps, and the stories of how Shadow and Clover came into my life.

Our special guest for the conference was Tawdra Kandle and her book The AntCinderella is my book pick of the week. Grab it up now while it is free on Kindle! If you are fascinated with the royal family, you’ll love this contemporary fun read that is a great choice for cuddling up and enjoying the fall weather and a book.

The Podcast of the week is Irish History Podcast by Fin Dwyer on Apple and other podcast places. I just listened to the episode about Jack the Ripper - and as usual, it was set up great. Dwyer’s voice alone is worth a listen but added to his extensive research and great production quality make the Irish History Podcast a regular in my podcast line-up.

Apps of the week:
Whova - The conference app we used at M&M that was a hit! If a conference you are attending is using it - download and take advantage of all the features and if you are running a conference, let me know if you have questions about how it worked for us. 

​Calm is my other app choice for the week because it helped me sleep and keep my sanity during the conference. I need to take the plunge and get the subscription - I might just have to put it on my Christmas List.

Good News - my puppy is turning 8 this month! We adopted him from the Atlanta Humane Society and Clover my cat who acts like a dog at Good Mews.
