Episode 6: Heroes, Influencers, and Wakelets

​I’m getting my ducks in a row for the podcasts and reflecting on life in general. Here is the new format for Geek Meets Social (GMS) - each week I have a different focus. For each month the weeks will have a different focus.

This week we talk about Mercury Retrograde, Influencer ad disclosure, Wakelet, and Alexandra Stoddard.

Mercury is in retrograde from 10/31 to 11/21 bringing us three weeks of communication woes, misunderstandings, and redoing, repairing, and reexplaining. 
This particularly retrograde is in the sign of Scorpio and it is particularly nasty. Back your stuff up, and try to be forgiving when someone misunderstands you - and everyone else. Oh -and those travel plans - plan ahead and expect changes. 

A new site I found to run astrology charts for free is super clean looking and gives you specific numbers:  https://astro-charts.com/ - You can create an account with Google and save your chart.

App/Browser add-on  - Wakelet - I went to a presentation by GeAnne Bolhuis at the NWGA Writers Conference and learned about Wakelet. You can use this to create collections of websites/articles/whatever you find on the web. You can keep those collections private or share them with others.
