Did everyone survive the holidays? I think we spent more time in the car than we did with people. So, let’s lighten the load and talk about gifting this week including after Thanksgiving shopping, geeky gifts, Heifers - and where you might be able to find a Baby Yoda.
Thanks to author C. B, Deem tagging me in an Instagram post - I managed to snag a year of the Calm app for 50% off. They also had 60% off the lifetime subscription, but I was hesitant to invest that much without trying it out for a year.
Charity gifts for the people who have everything - give a goat - or a flock of chicks! Heifer International has several options for gift-giving including donating a share of an animal. A Heifer cost $500 but you can donate a share for $50 - Goats are $120 and a share is $10. You can even give the trees and stoves for a village. I have friends in Europe - and they are getting a Flock of Chicks this year! Buzzfeed to the rescue with an article about 37 Geeky Gifts - Buzzfeed article I discovered Geek Pins through Karen Hallion They currently have their pin vault open with their previous offerings as well as amazingly cute baby Yoda pins. I’ve also seen a Funko of Baby Yoda - but no idea where to buy it yet. Mattel has a plush Yoda that made a brief appearance on their website - and was taken down. Magic Candle Company - wanting Disney scents for my air diffusers and I stumbled upon this company through yet again a FB ad. I also found out about Harry Potter Pandora charms as well that way - and let me tell you they are magical. I’m not sure my wrist can contain another fandom! Don't forget to let me know where you find your geeky gifts! Here is a Wakelet with all the links: wke.lt/w/s/_T9uDq
