It’s time for episode three and I just finished co-chairing the Moonlight & Magnolias Writers’ Conference with Sherrie Lea Morgan.  Post conference I have a fun contemporary romance, a historical podcast, two apps, and the stories of how Shadow and Clover came into my life. 

On November 2nd, I'll be talking about my Top Ten Tips And Tricks of Social Media at Northwest Georgia Writers Conference. Things actually kick off in Calhoun on Friday night with a dinner and two comedy routines. On Saturday, it is all about the writing. You can take a look at the schedule here. I'll be speaking at 2:30 and 3:30. I'm looking forward to attending a conference and not co-chairing one! I hope to see you in Calhoun, I'll be in the NaNoWriMo writer's room during down times.

It’s been a crazy week and I just got back from an academic conference in Asheville and I’m co-chairing a conference this coming weekend. In this episode I talk about some Asheville favorites, Star Wars, Downtown Abbey, and living with a deadly food allergy.

You know when you have that nagging feeling that you should really finish that website refresh/rebuild and change hosts after multiple problems at your old provider? Well, the invoice was coming due and the domain need renewing and I finally said, "screw it, let's do it." So here we are at my new site built on Weebly and hosted by them. Hopefully, they will be better than MacHighway who I was with for years (and years). Time will tell. 

While I was rebuilding the site, I decided it was time to redo my logo. Years ago I found an artist at fivrr.com and had the one above made for me. It has served me well, but the tagline is now a podcast that I record with Wil Nix and has moved on to have a life of its own. So, it became time to rebrand and expand. Refreshing and renew. Or better known as drive myself a little crazy.
